With a distinguished career in animal healthcare, Dr. Bhattacharya holds an MVSc and a PhD and has held senior positions with the Government of India, including serving as the Director and acting as the Principal of a Government animal health training and educational Institute before retirement.

Since the inception of the Indian Cancer Network, Dr. Bhattacharya has been instrumental in guiding and overseeing all its initiatives. Known for his meticulous attention to detail, he has managed numerous administrative functions during his tenure with the Government of India, showcasing his exceptional organizational skills.
